Jack Madison Memorial Open Benefitting Buddy Up for Life

Join us for a fun day of pickleball, food and friends to celebrate the life of Jack Madison. Proceeds will benefit Buddy Up for Life, the non-profit Jack loved, which is dedicated to helping build fitness and life skills for those individuals living with Down Syndrome.

Tournament format is double-elimination and play will begin at 9am at Pickle & Chill at 880 West Henderson Road in Columbus. Divisions include:

  • 3.0 and below

  • 3.0-3.5

  • 3.5-4.0

  • 4.0 and above

All rounds are COED (any configuration of gender). Matches will be played on our 12 inside and 10 outdoor courts.

Following the tournament, a social event will begin at 11am with music spun by Matt Ryan Mobile DJ Entertainment and delicious eats from Gordon’s Gourmet Food Truck. About Jack

A native of Bexley and graduate of Columbus Academy, Jack was a competitive tennis player and lover of pickleball who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 20 in January 2023. Through the Jack Madison Memorial Open, we honor his memory and continue his legacy of service, kindness, and generosity. Join us as we keep Jack's memory alive and make a difference in the lives of others through the power of sport and community.
